Mangroves roots protect the coast from erosion; the wetlands nurture fish,crabs and mudskippers. The fertile grassland stretch out towards the sea near the peaceful Pantaii Gondol beach, where a fishery research project is going on. Also a savana covers the north slopes of the central mountains.

The famous straling bird can be seen in the wild but is mainly present in the breeding facility away from the poachers. Also in the forest mountain slopes you can see teh Sambar Deer roaming freely in the park if you are lucky you may see also small wild board.

Since this are is blessed by mountain and ocean we could either penetrate rainy forest and trek beside rivers and plantation or dive in Menjangan Island which is a good diving or snorkeling site rich in fish and coral. Also Medewi will bring you a good dose of surfing adrenaline.
